Today a competency gap exists between what local companies need and what is available today. A new solution must be found. The Center for Competency Development intends to provide that solution by working intimately with employers to understand what is necessary for success and then work with training vendors to package development programs that are targeted specifically for results employers value. People can then access these unique programs to get to rewarding careers which overlap people’s passion and newly developed competencies.
